Scientists test first pill for flu in humans

Summary
This is the first study in humans to test a new oral drug called VNT-101, which is being developed to treat influenza (flu). The main goal is to check if the drug is safe and to see how the body absorbs and processes it. The study will enroll 78 healthy adults to receive either the drug or a placebo, starting with single doses and then testing multiple doses.
