What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
pregabalin and desvenlafaxine
What this could lead to
If successful, this could offer a more effective pain relief option for people with fibromyalgia who don't get enough help from pregabalin alone.
What could go wrong
This is an early-stage study with no phase designation, so results are uncertain. The combination may not provide significantly better pain relief and could cause more side effects.
