First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study follows 80 babies with a severe birth defect called congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). Some will have a special surgery (FETO) while still in the womb to help their lungs grow. Researchers want to see if these babies survive and have fewer health problems compared to those who don't get the surgery.
