First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study follows 80 babies with a severe form of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) who undergo a procedure called FETO while still in the womb. The goal is to see if these babies survive to leave the hospital and have fewer long-term health issues compared to babies with similar severity who did not get the surgery. Researchers will track complications from the procedure and later problems like high blood pressure in the lungs.
