Summary
This study compares fentanyl and morphine, both given with propofol, to sedate adult ICU patients on breathing machines. Researchers want to see which drug helps patients reach the right sedation level faster and reduces the need for extra calming medicine. The trial involves 116 participants and will also look at how long patients stay on the ventilator and in the ICU.
