Summary
This study tests whether taking fecal microbiota transplants (FMT) in capsule form can reduce frailty and improve health in people aged 70 to 85. Researchers believe that restoring gut bacteria may help with aging-related issues like memory, physical function, and inflammation. The trial will follow 210 participants for nearly two years to see if FMT safely promotes healthier aging.
