First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a new guideline can safely reduce the number of tests, antibiotics, and hospital stays for babies 60 days old or younger who have a fever. About 2,500 babies will take part across 11 hospitals in Sweden. The goal is to see if the new approach works as well as the current standard care.
