First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study is testing whether combining fasting with regular exercise can slow the aging process in people over 65. Researchers will measure biological age using DNA markers and other health indicators over one year. 240 participants will be split into four groups: exercise only, fasting only, both, or neither. The goal is to see if these lifestyle changes can truly make people biologically younger.
