Can skipping breakfast boost mood in menopause?
NCT ID NCT07481513
Summary
This study is testing whether a popular form of intermittent fasting can help improve mental health for women going through perimenopause. Researchers will compare about 100 women aged 45-55 who follow a 16/8 fasting schedule (eating only during an 8-hour window each day) against women who follow standard dietary advice. The goal is to see if this eating pattern can ease common symptoms like depression, anxiety, and poor sleep during this hormonal transition.
