Study aims to get heart patients walking sooner after procedure

NCT ID NCT05468957

Summary

This study aimed to see if using two FDA-approved devices together could help patients recover faster after a heart catheterization procedure done through the groin artery. It planned to compare how quickly patients could start walking and how soon the artery stopped bleeding when using a standard closure device alone versus using it with an additional pad. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
