This study looks at how to best screen families of children newly diagnosed with cancer for emotional and social needs. Researchers are comparing two ways of using a questionnaire called the Psychosocial Assessment Tool (PAT) across 18 children's cancer centers in the U.S. The goal is to help hospitals identify which families need extra support early on, so care can be more fair and effective.
