NCT ID NCT04881565
First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested a new training program for people with incomplete spinal cord injury who are at high risk of falling. The training uses mild electrical stimulation to help improve their ability to catch themselves when they lose balance. 21 participants completed 18 sessions over 6 weeks, and the researchers tracked falls for 6 months after training to see if the new method works better than standard balance training alone.
