NCT ID NCT02908048
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether tiny bits of genetic material (extracellular RNA) found in the blood can help doctors diagnose liver cancer or other liver diseases. Researchers planned to enroll about 1,865 people with liver cancer, bile duct cancer, cirrhosis, or chronic liver disease. The goal was to see if these blood markers could also predict how well a patient responds to treatment or if cancer comes back after surgery.
