NCT ID NCT05203224
First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding dornase alfa to standard clot-busting drugs helps restore blood flow faster in people with severe stroke caused by a large artery blockage. About 330 adults who arrived at the hospital within 4.5 hours of symptoms and were eligible for clot removal participated. The goal was to see if the drug could improve blood flow before the clot removal procedure, without causing bleeding in the brain.
