Summary
This study tested adding dornase alfa, an enzyme that breaks up DNA in blood clots, to standard clot-busting drugs and mechanical clot removal in 330 adults with severe ischemic stroke. The goal was to see if the combination could restore blood flow more quickly before the surgical procedure. The trial aimed to find the best dose for a future larger study.
