Summary

This study tests a simple, 3-session expressive writing program to help sexual minority veterans cope with stress related to their identity and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. Researchers will enroll 85 veterans who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or queer and have significant distress. The goal is to see if this brief, at-home writing exercise is practical and helpful for this group.
