Which exercise builds better legs and balance? a Head-to-Head test of resistance, plyometric, and HIIT training
NCT ID NCT05317299
First seen Jul 07, 2026 · Last updated Jul 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study compares three types of exercise—resistance training, plyometric (jump) training, and high-intensity interval training—to see how each affects leg muscle thickness, tendon thickness, muscle strength, joint position sense, and balance. The participants are healthy men aged 18 to 30 with a normal body mass index. The goal is to understand which exercise type offers the best benefits for lower extremity health.
