Summary

This study looked at whether a 16-week program of aerobic and resistance exercise could improve heart and muscle health in 33 HIV-infected veterans aged 50 and older. Participants did treadmill tests and heart imaging to measure changes in fitness and inflammation. The goal was to find safe ways to prevent physical disability in this group.
