Summary
This study looked at whether a 16-week program of aerobic and resistance exercise could improve heart and muscle function and reduce inflammation in 33 HIV-infected veterans aged 50 and older. Participants exercised on treadmills and did strength training. The goal was to see if exercise can help prevent physical disability and improve quality of life in this group.
