First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding very short, intense exercises called 'exercise-snacks' to a standard weight-management program can improve physical fitness in obese adolescents. Forty-eight hospitalized teens will either do six mini-workouts daily for three weeks or receive standard care only. Researchers will measure changes in fitness, body fat, and blood vessel health up to three months later.
