Can walking workouts ease breathing struggles?
NCT ID NCT00678821
Summary
This study tested whether a supervised exercise program could help people with pulmonary hypertension (PH) become more active and feel better. 97 adults with PH or a related lung disease were randomly assigned to either start exercise right away or begin with education classes. The main goal was to see if 10 weeks of treadmill or track walking, three times a week, could safely improve how far participants could walk and their quality of life.
