Can exercise and diet tame the pain of fibromyalgia and IBS?
NCT ID NCT06923800
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two different exercise programs combined with dietary advice to see which better reduces symptoms in people who have both fibromyalgia and irritable bowel syndrome. Researchers will enroll 30 adults aged 30 to 65 with moderate to severe IBS and confirmed fibromyalgia. Participants will try both exercise approaches in a crossover design, and their pain, fatigue, and gut symptoms will be tracked over time.
