NCT ID NCT05597124

First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at whether different types of exercise can improve brain health and reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease in older African Americans. Researchers will compare a cardio-dance fitness program to a strength, flexibility, and balance program over six months. Participants will take memory tests, have brain scans, and give blood samples to see how exercise affects brain function and Alzheimer's risk markers.
