Exercise before immunotherapy: a new weapon against skin cancer?

NCT ID NCT06008977

First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This small pilot study looks at whether doing 20-30 minutes of moderate exercise right before immunotherapy can help the treatment work better for people with certain skin cancers (melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and Merkel cell carcinoma). The study includes 12 adults scheduled for their first immunotherapy session. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and to gather early data on its effects.
