New brain bleed surgery could save lives and improve recovery

Summary
This study tests a new, less invasive surgery to remove blood clots from the brain within 8 hours of a stroke caused by bleeding. About 240 adults with large brain bleeds will be randomly assigned to either the new surgery or standard medical care. The goal is to see if the surgery helps more people recover with less disability after 6 months.
