First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study compares a new, less invasive surgery to remove blood clots from the brain after a hemorrhagic stroke against standard medical care. About 240 adults with a large brain bleed will be randomly assigned to either the surgery or standard treatment. The goal is to see if the surgery improves recovery and reduces disability at 6 months.
