First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study looks at 60 adults having lumbar disc surgery to see if giving a nerve block (ESPB) before or during surgery better reduces pain and the need for strong painkillers (opioids). The goal is to improve recovery, reduce side effects like nausea, and keep blood pressure stable. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two timing groups.
