Summary

This study tests whether giving a nerve block (ESPB) before or during lumbar disc surgery better reduces pain, opioid use, and anesthesia needs. About 60 adults having back surgery will be randomly assigned to one of two timing groups. The goal is to improve pain control, reduce side effects, and help patients recover faster.
