Summary
This study tested a medicated patch containing esflurbiprofen against a placebo patch in 69 adults with mild ankle sprains. The goal was to see if the patch could reduce pain during movement over 48 hours. Participants applied the patch within 6 hours of injury and reported their pain levels. The study is complete and aimed at providing short-term symptom relief.
