Summary
This small study aimed to understand how a specific type of immune cell, called an eosinophil, interacts with body fat in people with obesity and insulin resistance. Researchers enrolled four participants who were undergoing a weight loss procedure to collect fat tissue and blood samples for analysis. The goal was to gather basic knowledge about the biology of fat tissue, not to test a treatment.
