New program aims to break the silence on teen mental health in latino families

Summary
This study tests a program called Enlace Familiar, designed to help Latino teenagers ages 14-18 talk about their mental health with parents or trusted adults. About 64 teens with mild to moderate anxiety or depression symptoms will take part. The program uses community health workers to lead the sessions. Researchers want to see if the program is practical, well-liked, and improves communication about mental health.
