Summary
This study looked at how information about what matters to older Veterans with chronic pain—like their home life and daily challenges—can help doctors provide better care. Researchers talked to 230 Veterans aged 65 and older, their caregivers, and clinicians to develop a computer tool that shares this information during medical visits. The goal was to see if this approach improves how well patients follow their pain care plan and feel satisfied with their visit.
