Summary
This study looked at whether sharing information about a patient's daily life and home environment (called contextual patient-generated health data) can improve pain care for Veterans aged 65 and older with chronic pain. Researchers collected data from patients and their caregivers, then developed a computer tool to show this information to doctors during visits. The goal was to see if this approach increased patient satisfaction and how well they followed their pain care plan.
