NCT ID NCT05711758
First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a new, less invasive procedure called PSAM that cuts some stomach muscles to slow down how fast food leaves the stomach, which may help people feel full longer and lose weight. It is for adults aged 18-70 with a BMI over 35 who are eligible for weight loss procedures. The goal is to see if this procedure alone is safe and effective for weight loss without the need for a larger surgery.
