First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding pterostilbene (an antioxidant from blueberries) to the hormone drug megestrol acetate works better than megestrol acetate alone in shrinking or slowing endometrial cancer. About 44 women scheduled for hysterectomy will receive one of the two treatments before surgery. The goal is to see if the combination reduces tumor cell growth more effectively.
