First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding pterostilbene (an antioxidant from blueberries) to the hormone drug megestrol acetate works better than megestrol acetate alone in shrinking endometrial cancer or precancerous growths before hysterectomy. About 44 participants will take the drugs for a short time before their scheduled surgery. The main goal is to see if the combination reduces tumor cell growth more effectively.
