First seen Nov 03, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This completed study looked at whether four free self-help resources—a book, a smartphone app, a help center, and a peer mentor—can help adults with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis feel more in control and reduce disability. Over 800 people with moderate-to-severe IBD-related disability took part online. The goal was to see which tools, or combinations, work best to improve confidence and daily functioning.
