Summary
This study looked at how people with borderline personality disorder (BPD) understand and feel others' emotions. About 40 adults with BPD took computer tests and answered questionnaires over two years. The goal was to see if empathy changes with the severity of the disorder. No treatment was given; this was an observational study to learn more about BPD.
