NCT ID NCT07261033

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This small study will test if spending time with horses (equine-assisted psychotherapy) can help inpatients with emotionally unstable personality disorder (EUPD) manage their emotions and feel more connected to others. Six participants will attend six therapy sessions with horses and share their experiences in interviews. The goal is to see if this non-verbal, trust-building approach offers a new way to support people who struggle with traditional talk therapy.
