Summary
This study looked at whether the diabetes drug empagliflozin can help repair heart damage in diabetic patients who had a severe heart attack. 200 participants received either 10 mg or 25 mg of the drug and were monitored for 6 months. The goal was to see if the drug improves heart structure and function, potentially leading to better long-term outcomes.
