Summary
This study looked at how emotional skills of young women (45 or younger) with non-spreading breast cancer and their partners affect their ability to adjust to the disease. Over 390 couples were followed from chemotherapy through recovery. The goal was to understand how emotions influence each person's experience, not to test a new treatment.
