Summary
This study looked at how the emotional skills of young women (45 or younger) with non-spreading breast cancer and their partners influence their ability to adjust to the disease. Researchers followed 391 couples through chemotherapy and beyond, measuring emotional abilities and well-being. The goal was to understand how emotions impact the cancer experience, not to test a treatment.
