This study tested whether an electronic stethoscope can help doctors detect narrowing (stenosis) in the blood vessel connection used for dialysis. Researchers recorded sounds from the access site in 30 adults on long-term dialysis and analyzed them alongside routine blood test results. The goal was to see if sound patterns could predict blockages before they become serious, potentially allowing earlier treatment.
