Summary
This study tested whether using EEG brain-wave monitoring during anesthesia helps doctors give the right amount of medicine, so patients wake up faster after surgery. About 100 adults having general anesthesia took part. Researchers also checked if this approach reduces short-term memory or thinking problems after the operation.
