Immunotherapy combo shows promise for Hard-to-Treat ovarian cancer

NCT ID NCT03026062

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 41 times

Summary

This study tested two immunotherapy drugs, durvalumab and tremelimumab, in 100 people with ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer that came back or stopped responding to platinum chemotherapy. The goal was to see if giving both drugs together or one after the other works better at controlling the cancer. The approach aims to help the immune system attack the tumor, but does not cure the disease.
