First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a smaller breathing tube (35 Fr) is easier to place and causes less sore throat than other sizes in people having lung surgery. About 60 adults will be randomly assigned to get either the 35 Fr tube or a size based on their height. Researchers will count how many tries it takes to place the tube, check oxygen levels during surgery, and ask about sore throat afterward.
