First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a smaller breathing tube (35 Fr) is easier to place and causes less sore throat than other sizes in people having lung surgery. About 60 adults will be randomly assigned to get either the 35 Fr tube or a size based on their height. Researchers will track how many tries it takes to place the tube, oxygen levels during surgery, and any sore throat afterward.
