What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Digital lifestyle education program
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a practical, home-based way to improve fitness and quality of life for people with heart failure and excess weight.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 52 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The digital program may not be as effective as in-person coaching, and some people might find it hard to stick with.
