Summary

This trial tests whether a combination of dietary supplements, including creatine monohydrate, can improve common health complaints in healthy women aged 35 to 65. Over 8 weeks, participants take either the supplements or a placebo, and researchers measure changes in joint pain, fatigue, sleep quality, body composition, strength, and inflammation. The goal is to see if a simple supplement routine can help manage the physical and mental changes that often come with middle age.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
creatine monohydrate (a dietary supplement)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point to a simple supplement routine that helps middle-aged women manage common age-related complaints like joint pain, fatigue, and sleep troubles.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 38 participants, so results may not apply broadly. Supplements can also cause digestive upset or other side effects.
