Summary
This study tested whether a special dietary supplement could help heal diabetic foot ulcers and prevent amputations in 35 people with diabetes. Participants took the supplement at home and were monitored weekly for up to 6 weeks. The main goals were to see how many ulcers fully healed and how many amputations were avoided.
